This qualification is suitable for individuals seeking personal and professional development in ICT. The course helps candidates develop their ICT skills and gain a recognised qualification equivalent to a grade C or 4 at GCSE.
Functional Skills qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their ICT skills.
Achieving these qualifications should increase candidates’ confidence and motivation, and the skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning.
The Functional Skills ICT Level 2 (or Level 1) qualification is for learners who are looking to obtain the essential skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to confidently and effectively carry out tasks at work and in their everyday life.
