Functional Skills ICT Level 1 & 2

Course Description

This qualification is suitable for individuals seeking personal and professional development in ICT. The course helps candidates develop their ICT skills and gain a recognised qualification equivalent to a grade C or 4 at GCSE.

Functional Skills qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their ICT skills.

Achieving these qualifications should increase candidates’ confidence and motivation, and the skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning.

The Functional Skills ICT Level 2 (or Level 1) qualification is for learners who are looking to obtain the essential skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to confidently and effectively carry out tasks at work and in their everyday life. Generally, functional skills qualifications offer a softer and more flexible approach to obtaining a nationally recognised qualification suitable for
further education, college, university or employment instead of taking GCSE qualifications.

Course duration. How long does this course take?
On average the course can be completed in just 7 weeks (based on 4 hours of study per week) – but many of our students have completed it even sooner than that. But it is self-paced so you can take as much time as you wish during your time of access. The course will be available for up to 6 months once purchased.
If you fail the exam:

In the unfortunate event that you are not successful in your examination, you have the chance to re-take the examination for a small fee.  We also accept monthly payments for our ICT course – £47/ Every month for 3 months or pay for course in full £141
